Lustleigh village is on the edge of the Dartmoor moorland and within the Dartmoor National Park but it also offers very easy access for exploring the whole of Devon, including the beautiful coast which is just 12 miles away. Lie back on one of the comfortable lounger chairs, watch the rabbits and deer in the fields, read a book or simply snooze in the sun. Lustleigh village hosts several events such as the well-known Lustleigh May Fair which includes, a flower-filled procession, a brass band, Maypole and Morris dancing and the crowning of the May Queen on a granite throne in Lustleigh Orchard as well as stalls, games and traditional cream teas. Other events such as the open-air Theatre in the Orchard, drama and music events in the village hall and the famous Lustleigh show in August are all to be eagerly anticipated.
